Injector O-Ring problem - leaks...
I've got a set of CPR injectors that i'm using on my '98 Integra LS. The bottoms fit into the IM fine (I had to bore out the gromet) but I'm having trouble with the tops. THey came with a larger o-ring on the top that doesn't fit inside the fuel rail, the fuel rail would just "sit on top of it". If i did it this way it looks like I'd need some sort of spacer to bolt the rail down. So then I tried putting the stock O ring on there and when I put the injectors into the rail it seems kind of loose. I hooked them up like this, turned the car to on, and one of them leaked. How can I fix this? It seems loose because there's more open space at the top of the CPRs then there is on the stock injectors.
take the injectors down with you to an automotive store and grab some o-rings that will get the job done. I am going through this same problem accept my injectors fit in the rail they don't fit in the intake manifold so I need to bore it out a little and find some o rings that fit . . . someone told me they got theres at home depot and it works excellent!
You could go to a place like NAPA and get an injector O-Ring kit which is around $7 per injector. Or go somewhere that carries Help! products like Autozone, they should have a package of assorted injector O-Rings.
