injector o-ring?????
hey everyone, i just bought some 440cc RC injectors off my friend, but it doesn't have any of the rubber rings on it. I was wondering if i can use the ones on my stock injectors, or should i get new ones?? if so, where can i get them??

OEM O-rings should be fine depending on make. As long as the injectors are properly seated into the manifold and when tighting the fuel rail they are well secured. I got some with my RC750cc but tried to use the Victor Reinz one that came with my gasket set, however they didn't seat properly so removed them and just used the ones that came with the injectors.

the orings that seal into the fuel rail u can use oem rings no prob, but its really hit or miss as far as trying to reuse them, i always replace those orings when ever the injector is removed from the rail, but the grommets that go into the manifold, may not quite work right, either dremel them out, or get the rc grommets which are like half as deep, as the rc injectors are designed to sit on top of the grommet instead of inside like the oem injectors

Re: injector o-ring????? (srmofo)
thanks for all the help...but now i have another problem.
i ended up using the oem o-rings but when i go to put the RC injectors in the intake manifold they dont sit all the way in like the stock injectors did. is this a problem because i tightened everything up pretty tight and i dont see any leaks from anywhere while the car is running???

no not the intake manifold, the inside of the stock grommets so the rc injectors fit like oem, but the rc grommets work much better, call rc they will get em to u
