When you go to get your car tuned have them tune it for the maximum amount of boost you want to run. One they've done that you can set your boost controller for the max amount of boost your were tuned for or anywhere below max amount of boost without needing a retune.

Depends on the ems your using.. If your using an AEM EMS and working with boost comp maps then for the most part you dont need to re-tune..

Its something in the AEM EMS, if you dont have one then it would take a while for me to explain..
