Default Ignition Upgrades?

I am wondering at what HP level you need to upgrade the ignition system? I already have wires and colder plugs for my setup but was looking at the MSD Digital 6 system. I plan on running around 400hp with my setup.

I have supported near 400whp on race gas with a stock block gsr with a thicker headgasket. I ran colder plugs, that was it. If you are not going to push over 400whp, then there is no need to upgrade. Using as much OEM stuff retains the most reliability out of your car.

Nope, .5 degree retarded per pound of boost through Hondata. There is no way you could keep stock timing with alot of boost without blowing the engine. Even c16 race gas wont let that happen.
