Default Ignition for turbo application

I have a turbo d series in a EG hatch. Right now I am running the stock ignition with some NGK7rE11 plugs. My question is if I should be running some sort of aftermarket igntion and "high" output coil, and what are some of the ignitions that you would recommend. Not just MSD, but exactly what you would recommend. Also what is a good brand of plug wires. People have told me that the NGK plug wires tend to pop off and fry out ignitors. If anybody could help that would be great!!!!!

stock Ignition setup. NGK or OEM wires. Whoever said NGK pop off and fry ignitors is wrong.

Why if it works. the OE ignition setup is good for huge power. There are many ametuer and pro guys running 500+hp on stock IGN. If anythnig I'd just replace the cap and rotor with a new one

I've questioned the ignition system before too and have been told the same exact thing, stick with stock.
Besides, look closely into the 'aftermarket' ignition coils, none of them are rated for more then 6K. Kinda worthless for a engine reving to 9.

Ignition is nice for the rev limiter. It's better to have an spark cut-off instead of the stock FUEL cut off...

Stock ignition is good enough...
Spend your money on other parts like a good EMS... S300 or Neptune...etc...
