ignition timing Q
hey, i finished my turbo intall today but have not done anything with the ignition timing (no msd/j&s yet). Does anyone have a rough estimate on how much boost i can run safely on the stock settings? my currest setup is:
99 gsr, fmax t3/t4e kit (w/ spearco IC), mf2 w/ extra injectors, walbro 255lph intank pump, b&m fpr, skunk2 IM, tial 35mm wg.
I have not been to the dyno for tuning but a rough tune on the road with the mf2 and have not heard any detonation at 7psi so far (at least, from what i can hear over the open downpipe, scheduled to weld the flange and flex pipe tomorrow).
I also have a seperate question... Are the msd/j&s mods needed after hondata? i know, ill 'do a search' for that later
just planning for my next mods.
