Ignition questions, want to make sure I am making the right desicion
I'm currently running an ls/vtec 462whp on stock ignition.
I'm planning on installing the MSD 6A with the Blaster HVC and MSD distributor cap
Is this a good setup?
Also just to keep in mind, mid summer I will be changing my fuel feed lines to -8AN, running race fuel and bringing up the boost. Aiming for 600-650whp
It's my daily and I drag race almost every weekend.

Re: Ignition questions, want to make sure I am making the right desicion
Seems like no one wants to help!! LoL
Well I'll tell you guys why I'm asking: I USED the SEARCH button but all the setups I'm finding are either the MSD digital 6 or the MSD 6AL with the Blaster SS
These setups seem to fail!! But I still see other cars running MSD successfully.
So does anyone have experience with the MSD 6A and the Blaster HVC??

50% will tell you MSD is junk, 50% will say it is great, and 50% that are the nut swingers will change their mind all the time with the great new wave of stuff.
personally i am on the same 6al box from 01, granted im on my 3rd blaster ss coil, but my setup has worked for me. stock dizzy, 6al, blaster ss.
some people it works, some it doesnt. some people dont stick with it long enough to know wether it works for them or not.

I had nothing but issues with my MSD I had, and switched to the M&W pro 14 and no longer have any of them issues at all
