What are you 500 horsepower guy running for ignition IE msd6a, external coils? I have no idea what to purchase and what I do and dont need. I have an 82mm benson GSR block and a turbonetics t3t4. I am probably going to get 1000cc injectors. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Stock distributors, Stock distributors w/ external coils, msd pro-billet, t1 cop/cam trigger

It all depends on your ems/goals

 

I will be runniing crome. I have a goal of 500 to the wheel.

 

Basically what I want to know is do I need a MSD6A box to efficiently run an external coil. Also what coil should I purchase.

 

just run all stock to start with..... you will be fine at 500whp. If you have any problems then just get a MSD Blaster SS coil and remove your factor coil

 

if all the stock stuff is in good shape it will work..
