ignition problem? or something else?
just recently my proform shiftlight has been acting wierd. or i should say my igniton possibily.
i have the shift light set to go off at 8000rpms and it does just that in every gear except in 3rd. when i get to about 6500-7000rpms in the top of third it just starts blinking like crazy. the wierd thing is that it only does it at the top of third.
running stock oem distributor with msd cap and msd SS coil.
also running ngk blue wires and ngk 8 spark plugs.
what do you guys think?

you dont think its an ignition problem? i did just recently have some igntion breakup problems but that has since went away by itself and stopped doing it and now this..

I've never used any aftermarket ignition, so I don't know how hard it would be to put it back to the stock setup. But that would be the first thing I would try. I've seen lots of power made with a stock ignition, unless you are going for huge numbers, I would stick with the stock stuff...
