Default nitrous problems

well my car has been runnin kinda crappy so i checked my plugs and it had a melted plug in the number 4 cylinder. my set up is a b16 with eagle rods, wiseco forged 10:8:1 cr pistons and rings, cometic .041" head gasket, arp head studs, ported b16 head, supertech valve train, obx stg 2 cams,dc 4:1 ceramic header, stock evo 8 fuel pump,450cc injectors, chipped p28 and a vafc and a zex dry kit on 75 shot. as said before i melted a plug in the number 4. well i put in some other plugs(were kinda old but needed to get to auto zone). well i saw this gsx i had been wanting to race to i hit the nitrous on him and then after, my motor was running kinda ruff so i checked my plugs and one of them was really messed up. so i put in my new plugs from auto zone and have not really got on it again yet. i plan not to spray until i am tuned. my question is when i get tuned do i get tuned on the vafc for the motor and then burn a chip for nitrous or the other way around. also any info about my set up or things about timing or other tricks would be apprectiated. thanks

if you want 2 different programs you need to go here. http://www.moates.net and get a 2 timer. it will allow you to run 2 programs. one all the time and another that engages when you trigger a wire. you can set you nitrous switch to trigger this wire to switch programs via a relay. now i have never used this piece, so i am not sure whether or not you have to switch the car off to switch programs or not. it may cause you to go into limp mode during switching if the car is on. like i say i am not sure. OR you can do what i did. since the nitrous is a piggyback power adder, you can use a msd or other setup to run your ignition and have it retard your timing automatically when the nitrous solenoid opens. now this isnt gonna do anything for fuel though so you will have to have it tuned conservatively enough so that the fual is already there. or switch to a wet kit.( basically buy 1 solenoid for fuel)

actually heres a link straight to the 2 timer. you can email craig moates and he can tell you more about it as i have no experience with it.

hope this helps , if not maybe someone else can help.
