iv got the e1 and yeah its ok.. but hummmm im thinking i should have gone with the AVC-r. the e1 dost not do gear dependent boost !
sure its reads / pushes boost up to 45psi, but yeah..
its got lots of nice features when you buy the addition add on harnes that lets you datalog almost anything with a vout, bit when you buy it.. all it can display is rpm and boost !! so yeah kinda crap if u want it for datalogging.
the boost control features i hav't played around yet because im still running in my engine, ill put up a post when iv played around with the boost side of things.

Also the instructions sux ! they call the rpm the "speed sensor wire" stupid tools.. and don't really show how 2 hook it up to a external wastegate,... but thats kinda easy 2 figure out... i hope they make a new detailed manual soon !!

Regards James

don't know the functions of the HKS or the Greddy, but Greddy has proven itself with the Profec B so my vote goes with Greddy. Plus it has the analog displays which seem better than just bars going up and down.

My friend has the new HKS EVC in his R34 Skyline, and likes it very much.. he tells me its very accurate, helps with quicker spool-up time, and rather easy to use.

I had a chance to get one for a good price. But I did not think anyone or alot of people would know how to install one or use one.
