...between a SLEEVED 84mm bored 1.8L block, or SLEEVED stock bore 84mm 2L block, which would you choose for a high boost (20-25psi) turbo setup (with forged internals, low compression) and why? Can you give me some pro's and con's? This is assuming both blocks can be had for about the same price, and Im not worried about being able to "rev out" the B20. I blew up my all motor ITR block and want to go turbo but not sure what block to go with. Thanks

It doesnt make a bit of difference. they both would do the samething. Only difference is crank.

The B20 has a stock 1 piece sleeve though, the B16/18 doesnt. Does that make a difference when it comes to sleeving the motor for boost?

As far as the cranks go, would one be any better than the other for boosting? Could I swap my ITR crank into the B20 block assuming the ITR crank isnt damaged?

Thanks

Personally i went with a bored b18c1 to 84 mm. I havent driven it yet, but i like the idea that there is a bit of room to fix a problem. And i am not real sure why, but I still am not a fan of the B20vtec.

I have seen alot of people here in so-cal that have great success with the built b20vtec motors.. Since you are sleeving it you are getting rid of its weak point..
