idle problem and hondata?

Default idle problem and hondata?

my car surges from 1,000 to 2,000 rpm's
i checked for vacume leakes but found none.
i have a 2001 gsr with a jrsc 10lb pulley
440 injectors hondata s100. tried to tune the motor today with no luck. air fule was perfect, but only put down 208whp 142tq. someone please help.

Are you throwing any codes? Does your Hondata recognize that you're using bigger injectors?

its not the hondata. it wont affect your idle like that.
if your a:f and timing are right, and you have a stock throttle body and working iacv and tps then something else is wrong

no codes 20,000miles on the motor. i'm not sure if the timming is right, it's kinna hard to adjust with the idle the way it is. btw it only surges when warm.

it's not a physical hondata problem, however, it might be a tuning problem.

Make sure that you relocated the map sensor to see boost.

i doubt it. tuning issues wont cause an idle that high. not with the hondata at least.

iacv is clean, map sensor moved to see boost. i think i have a leak between the blower and manifold. how can i get my hands on that pretuned base map from hondata? gsr 10lb 440 injectors thanks for all the help guys.

Contact your dealer that sold you the Hondata. and fix the leak.

fixed my idle today. i also got a chance to put on my kamikaze header. new problem... i'm only getting 5-7 pounds of boost, i was making 9-10 pounds. did the header make that much of a difference? thanks dee

btw to fix the leak i put a new gasket on the blower and manifold, and on the s tube.
