You can't just switch to a different injector & expect the car to run the same.
The car must be re-tuned.

generall when staying with the same size this can be done with minor tweeks to the tune. first thing is setting injector battery offset values in the engine management. secondly would be slight mods to the tune. I personally went from rc1000's to the ID1000's and just had to take out 10% overall fuel trim and tickel the idle values a little bit to get it spot on.

I went from precision 1000's to ID1000. Are the injector wires +/- I put the yellow wires with black stripe on slot 2.

yes, they are much different injectors. You need to retune.

The dead time is significantly different between the two, which can result in almost 40% difference in fueling at low pulsewidths when the correct dead times are not used, even though the flow rate is the same.

Yes, you need to have your car tuned.

IF the car was tuned initially with the correct dead times and the injectors changed and the correct dead times used with the new ones, the tune would be very close. The problem is that nobody else offers correct dead times for their injectors so it probably wasn't tuned with the correct dead times to begin with.
