As an alternative, you can also take your IC piping to a muffler shop and have them flare the ends. That helps also to keep from blowing off IC piping.

Upto about 12 psi you don't realy need to. We bead all out pipes and have never blown a pipe off on 23 psi daily.
You never see stock Evos blow pipes and they run 19-20 with stock hose clamps.

Don't know about that^^^^^^
On my old setup I had a very small T3 (super 60 in comparison) and it never blew any couplers off of the un-beaded pipes. I now have a straight t04e and beaded pipes and they blow off left and right. (T-bolt clamps on the way).

I'd reccomend flex couplers anywhere that the pipe may flex from the motor. If your motor torques alot be preparred for you pipes to come loose! I think bead's are a good idea, hairspray is a must. I'd only put T-bolt's on pipes made of thick steel(18g or thicker), T-bolts on aluminum or thin steel you wanna be careful.. Straps are not a bad idea on high power cars either.

Re: (DIRep972)
I had my pipes blowingoff for a while at only 7.5 psi! It was annoying! I then used just short round head screws at the edge of my piping and that worked fine! Eventually, I had my buddy just weld little dots at the end, just 3 evenly spaced around the tube.

I scored mine with a Dremel around the ends of the pipe. Three lines scored around the end of each pipe and double clamp it with SS hose clamps. I run 20+ PSI of boost and have yet to have a coupler pop off with this setup.
