Default IC piping question for all you guys who know a lotmore thanme, aka 99% of you...

alright, I will probs buy a b-series greddy mani with a TDO5H snail, and I need to buy IC/charge piping aswell. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW Click this link and wondering if it'd fit perfect with little to no modification? The only thing I have questions about really is the end of the pipe connecting to the turbo, if it'll line up easily, or what would I have to buy for it to? (aswell if I bought another snail and mani, ingeneral how does this piping mount up to the snail correctly) IF you guys could help me, I'd be very thankful. This is a learning experience...

No universal charge piping kit is just going to fit perfectly. You will need to cut and possibly weld otherwise you will have 500 couplers and clamps holding everything together. You need to get the turbo and manifold in the car then you can figure out the charge piping and downpipe.

That piping kit looks pretty good, like it would work without modification. The Vecco stuff that I see on ebay seems to be better quality than a lot of the other stuff on there. You would probably just have to clock your compressor so the outlet points down and clamp a coupler on it.

Remember, the Greddy turbo has an internal wastegate which preculdes clocking the turbo unless you want to fab brackets for the actuator. Also, the manifold places the compressor on the passenger side.
