Iacv
i recently bought an iacv to fix my idle problem, but supprisingly it was the wrong one... there they are
stock one
new one, i think auto 98 EX - i was told would fit manifold (dont kno if original or swapped
TB
My engine is a d16y7, and the manifold mite or mite not be the stock manifold.
Any1 know what iacv to get? i need one that fits.

Re: Iacv (roachsboosted16)
the y7 auto and manual as far as i know are the same. however i know the y8 manual and auto are different. the y8 manual is or is similar to the new one you got. the y8 auto has it as part of the throttlebody like the y7 except it isnt mounted up and dow like that it is conventional.

Re: Iacv (roachsboosted16)
I just converted from a 3 wire to a 2 wire. The 2 wire IACV come for sure on the manual y8 and z6 and is located on the manifold. You might want to switch to a z6 manifold and TB. What I'm concerned about is the bolt patterns on the 3 wire and 2 wire are different and I don't think they made any TB mounted 2 wires. Perhaps someone with more knowledge than me will chime in.
