I know that the spring /throttle cable attachment thing is reversed on them, but you can just pop that off and exchange it. I also think it may depend on whether the Y8 is manual or automatic, I believe the automatic ones from a Y8 are the same as all of the Y7 ones (other than the aforementioned spring thing), but the manual Y8 one has the IACV incorporated on it? Anyone want to chime in on this?
In my personal experience, I've used my stock (manual car) Y7 TB and an automatic Y8 TB with my Y8 manifold on my Y7.
