Default I need an oil restrictor quicktime!

So the cars off to be run in on the dyno and tuned 5th March and im still without an oil restrictor. I ordered one from APT but they sent the wrong type and i'm having trouble getting replies from e-mails.

I have the bigger type line for the oil feed, i think its the 4AN not 3? The restrictor send is too small to fit my oil line.

I really don't wanna get it tuned for say 15psi without a restrictor and have the turbo smoking it's tit's off after a week.

So can anyone help me out? I'm based in the UK and running out of time

Spec

B16
Wiseco low comp pistons, eagle rods, acl's
ARP studs, skunk valve springs, retainers
550's, AEM fpr, 3 bar map, g.eagle vac mani
Teg type r oil pump
std cams, crank, head, inlet.
t3/t4, hondata s300.

Shootin for around 300 at 15-20 psi.

Thanks

I think I have an extra ATP restrictor and inline oil filter if you need. I can probaby get it shipped via USPS to the UK no biggie since it's small.

Thanks for the replies guys,

It's a garrett i believe, i will double check.

I just assumed an oil restrictor was essential with the high oil pressure kicked out.

PM'd ya spOOled

I noticed this as well, untill he stated that he was using a -4AN line, in which case he would need one for the oil pressure honda has, I just don't remember off the top of my head, what size apeture. I wouldn't just get any "restrictor" and use it. If it were a DSM or other, I wouldn't sweat it, but in this case, he may need to switch his line. I'd still check what the oil pressure is at the line anyway for safety.

-4 with no restrictor isn't going to be a problem. For long term peace of mind I would get one or a -3 feed, but I wouldn't cancel a dyno session.

Thanks guys,

I'm gonna ditch the 4an line and roll with a -3 feed after the dyno session.

My only trouble now is that it's kinda tappy even after adjusting the valve clearances!

I have started another thread for this though
