I was wondering if there is such thing as an inline oil pump (electrical or mechanical) that mounts on the oil return line to help move oil away from the turbine to the oil pan....if so, where can I get one...or has anyone made something like it? What would be its disadvantage?
I can;t think of any disadvatages, but as long as you have a straight path down, I don't think an external oil pump is necessary...that's why the oil feed line is always smaller than the oil return....i.e -4 for oil feed and -10 for return
ooh wait, with an external oil pump, you might be draining out too much oil out the shaft bearing...causing it to run with no oil, since the feed line can only flows so much..
anyone else ?

I have never heard of one. If there is one I am not sure it would be too helpful. I just like to keep it simple. Most everyone has a -10 line running out and a -4 line feeding, I would think that would be plenty of flow. Are you having problems?

no ...I have other problems...but I'm beginning to wonder if it started with my drain line....my grean line looks okay; it points straight down out of the turbo but then there is like a 1.5 to 2 inch flat spot into the pan...the curve is very smoooth...no kinks or corners...I was just wondering if there may be a way to help the old flow better.....
you should be okay..mine does that too...
you can try to shorten the lines a bit and use a 45deg fitting to the oil pan
or just shorten the lines...
mine kinda loop around the DP

The only situation I can think of where you would want an oil pump is if you drain straight down from the turbo to a small sump; then you would use the pump to bring the oil from the sump back up to the engine. This would be useful in an engine where you were FORCED to mount the turbo(s) lower than oil pan height. Aside from that there's no reason; your drain sounds fine.
