so um. i guess i'll go ahead with this custom turbo setup. the turbo is from Slow_ass_4dr's groupbuy. its a .57trim and its preeeeety...

but i asked for water cooled but i guess they didnt get the request in in time. so its just the regular CHRA. i guess thats ok. should i send it back for water cooling?

Well, it is up to you. Is water cooling a big enough deal for you to wait to get it?
I would probably get the water cooled one because that is what you wanted in the first place.

i really would like water cooling. i think it helps maintain the CHRA and shaft at a more consistent temperature. and that equals longer turbo life...at least i think it would...

Actually, i walked in with a resume and asked for the person in charge of the install bay. I told him I installed 2 turbo kits, worked on suspension and other mumbo jumbo. And he liked that, even though I have not had any training or school on auto mechanics. He said he will send me to some kind of classes to learn the stuff. The only downside is that I have to supply my own tools.
