I have done it
ahhhhhhh, I hope it was a good investment!
Just orderd a DRAG III kit without the freebies + AVC-R APR headbolts, tial wastegate, JE 9:1 pistons, Eagle rods, 90 deg. elbow for the wastegate.
The repair of my car costs 2300 USD including JSRC deininstall, turbo install, cleaning all engine parts and measure all stuff like bearings, valves, some little head work, etc etc and dyno tuning. Therefore my tuner takes my JRSC, so I pay no money for the repair

Re: I have done it (vudoo666)
Ben, who is getting always my hard earnd money
no sleeves, my tuner said it is not nacessary on ~ 1 Bar.
I told him on some guys are cracking the sleeves, but he said it was just tuning failures with detonations on high rpm and to much heat in the combustion camber.
I´m sooooooo excited when my uncle gets his new Ferrari (the new Spyder ~ 350hp I think) to whoooop his ***! YEAH!!!!
I´m the Turbo king in Europe BABEEEEEEEE

Re: I have done it (Arturbo)
sleeve it!!!!!!!!!!!
1bar daily with 9:1cr after 15k miles will destroy your sleeves...like this
Spend the extra 1000 bucks it will be worth it in the long run - plus its a nice piece of mind...

Re: I have done it (austrian ITR)
I had a BMW 5 series Alpina when I lived in Duesseldorf and the TUV would not let me drive it after I had a buddy of mine from Canada come over and work on it. We dynoed back in 94 about 500KW to the wheels and when I went to TUV they said I churned out more pollution than Cherbnobyl in 86'. They also made me take my rims off as I went like 4 sizes over the KFZ brief

Re: I have done it (vtecdoc)
some people do it because that location recieves a lower oil pressure than the back of the block which also some people believe the back of the blocks oil pressure is too high... let them think what they want to think... it works... i dont know y people insist on changing it... as far as the vtec oil location... oil comes through tht eline when vtec is engaged... if i was u... (and anyone else who is running this setup i would change it to the back of the block unless u want to blow ur turbo... (which i know someone who has done that a few times... then they changed it and no more problems)
