Default i dont think my bov's working

i have a greddy type-s on 10psi. vaccum source is from the fpr. i would loosen it all the way and only get a slow high pitch whistle..can't hear anything when it's tightened. i do hear a loud fludder from my wastegate after i let off spooling the turbo..is that normal?

Get a better vacuum source, I'm using the brake booster. The fluttering is compressor surge, not your wastegate...

so i should fix that lol....i dont really want to tap into the brake booster since hose sizes are different and find fittings. i'll do what i have to do tho however i've heard others tapped the fpr with a bov and boost gauge without problems

Can you elaborate on that, what do you mean two springs? and what vacuum source did you use?

Thanks

there's a stiff spring and a soft spring that it comes with. if u take the bolts off the top diaphram u'll see the springs. i'm not sure if all of them came with 2 springs in there but mine did and it fixed it.

i had an extra nipple on my intake manifold so i used that and fixed up where i had it tee on the fpr

If you want that, maybe try looking at the Greddy Type- RS?
