quick spoool with a big'ish hybrid turbo and a little **** d16 engine = not gunna happen.

I have a little crap td04h (the stock garrett one from the garrett kit); it spools allright but my charge pipes are really restrictive.

unless you're going to push 30+ psi of boost find a smaller turbo or buy one with ball bearings

You're a retard. The spool on that thing would be SICK with a .48 A/R. I am going to use a Precision SC50, .48 A/R and Stage 3 turbine wheel on my built D16Y8. I plan on running 15-20psi.

Sounds like an excellent setup. I'd go ahead and grab the RC 550's instead since they hardly cost anything more. That way you'll have more room to grow.

save your money on the hondata and just hack your stock ecu (obd0 or obd1) and get some dsm 450cc injectors. you'll save a ton of cash

Super 60 T3 will more than do the job for 250whp on a d16, i have one and my goal is anything over 300....It will spool pretty quick and it pulls really hard up top, i did 205whp on 6psi, they are very efficent on a d16...I plan on making 300 with like 15psi roughly with the turbo and i kno it will do it no problem....A 50 trim t3/t4 is a bit overkill for your goal i think, they can support 400hp....just my .02 cents

I'd rather be safe than sorry...I'll just "waste" my money on hondata

Thats also an option I guess...I don't plan on stopping at 250...thats just to start...by the end of summer I know I'm gonna want 350
