Default Turbonetics WG question

Why does my Deltagate/ MarkII has a different base? My WG looks bigger that the other regular deltagates i see.. Are they all 35mm?

Compare this Base

With MY WG base...

Its pretty heavy too.

Can u elaborate on this? Does it means that i cant run low boost, like what happens with Tial race gates?(no lower than 14.5PSI).

This wastegate came with all the Springs.

Is is better than the "regular" Deltagate then?

What? I've got a TiAL wastegate and have a 0.4 bar spring in it [about 6 psi]. I don't know where you heard about TiAL's not being able to run less than 14.5 psi.

that wg is racegate from Turbonetics. it also has many differeent spring combinations. It used usually on high hp setups. Its a great wg for the buck. It will not bolt up to a 35mm flange

YOu can look at it here..
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=773352

Look at posts #15, 16 and 17.

There is the Tial regular WG and the tial HP WG..

That one is for high boost application where it will not let you run anything less than 1bar..in othe words 14.5PSI..

So is my Deltagate a 38mm? if not what it is and what flange do i need to put it on my manifold?

I am having a custom made Log Manifold.

Here are more pics of the WG.

On the first question you are looking at two different things. The WG is not a tial that you have it is a turbonetics made unit. Lets get that straight first. Alot of misinformation in this post.

You do not have a deltagate second off.

You have a racegate which is also made by turbonetics.

If you are having a custom made log manifold tell them to make it based on the racegate flange and you should be okay

Please read this http://www.turboneticsinc.com/wastegates.html
and understand what product you have first.

Thanks..this is exactlly what i want to know. I bought it with all the springs.(look at the pic on above posts)

According to this online Catalog--> http://64.225.76.178/catalog/wastegate.html

Springs are available in 3-5, 5-7, 7-9 and 9-13 PSI for both Gates (Regular and Racegates)..The springs are by color and i have all of them(they came with the WG when i bought it)
