how you dyno without damaging motor...
I have always wondered this...
Lets say you just finished your turbo setup. It is all installed. All you have to do now is make a trip to the dyno and have your Hondata chip tuned. Well, you have to make an initial dyno run to have a basis to tune your chip right? How can you redline your new turbo motor on the dyno without proper fuel management?

Generally it comes with a base map that is tuned conservativly.
But you do it in steps.
Monitor the air/fuel ratio and it goes to lean stop the pull make adjustments then do it again. Keep doing that until you are happy.
you don't just strap it on the dyno run to redline then look at the graph, you monitor it as the run is being made.

Usually if you're at a good tuner with wideband they'll tell you to stop and shut down the dyno if they notice you're running off the graph lean.

im not boosted, but when I dynod my car, the hondata base map that rocket setup for me made a lot of power, and lawrence @ dsr could only improve it a little bit
I dont have the a/f ratio, but it was safe.
