How to spend thousands of dollars-lots of pics
I'm one of the lurkers in the background....Its taken quite awile (several years). Just trying to do everything right the first time. Im hoping to finish this summer. The motor just lacks some ARPs and a head gasket. As far as the turbo goes...everything you don't see, I need. Im located in mississippi so I'll be hitting up the florida boys for some tuning (Vaportrail). Thanks to everyone that helped thus far. Especially Geoff and Viren.
The motor is an LS/VTEC: golden eagle block 84.5mm weisco pistons, eagle rods, the block was girdled as discussed a few weeks ago (motor work done by VS racing AKA-Viren). The head has type r intake valves porcelin coated and ferrea SS oversized exhaust vales (DPR valve job), the intake and exhaust ports have been port matched and the ole P&P. The turbo is a T3 60-1 with a turbonetics stage 5 exhaust housing. And last but not least, full-race mainfold.
Enjoy....I know I will.

Re: How to spend thousands of dollars-motor build up-lots of pics (rondigs)
Obviously the head is built...However, I need some insight. The combustion chamber is in the stock form (I.E. not refigured for 84.5mm). WITHOUT disassembling everyhting, what can I do to improve flow. Take some edges off on the outside of the combustion chamber?

very nice ronald. I hope this motor really turns some power. Th Girdles i can install on any LS to convert them to GSR spec. I also can drill and tap the oil squirters as well now. We just completed full b18b spec block ot GSR spec.

Viren, can you just get GSR main caps and girdle and install it? Or is it more complicated than that?
I doubt I am going to tear down my motor again anyways.

To put the gsr girdle on the LS block all you need to do is bolt it on with gsr main bolts and align hone it. However once you do that you will need a gsr oil pan, pickup, and windage tray.
