Default How to Plug PCV Nipple on GSR intake manifold?

Gonna be boosted soon. stock PCV system is getting ditched for an open loop catch can setup. So the vac line for the pcv valve needs to be plugged

This is a stock GSR IM meaning the nipple is in a bad spot (underneath the IM)

Whats the best way to plug it? What do i need? How has everyone else done this?

Thanks...

Don't plug it, use it. For your boost gauge or something.

no sure exactly what youre referring to but...
the port on the intake manifold is a great source for vacuum/boost
the port coming of the black breather box can be ran to a catch can or just left open to vent(oil mist will escape into the atmosphere)

Black breather box is long gone. currently running a closed loop endyn catchcan setup

I'm referring to the port / nipple under the GSR IM which acts as a vacuum source for the PCV valve.

I have a GE vacuum manifold. So i really don't need this as a vac source.

Should i maybe route the vac manifold to this port instead of teeing into the brake booster line?

i'd rather plug it honestly.

Any nipples that weren't used, I ripped out, and tapped it for NPT plugs and voila. Place some crome plugs in and blends right in. This way, Ic an still use them if I need them in the future.

lol ghetto but it works...

i like the idea of using the PCV hole as the main source for your vacuum box... just not too sure if it has enough pressure (as opposed to the brake booster)
