Longer Exhaust Manifold Studs
Anybody know of any honda exhaust manifold studs that are longer than the standard b-series studs? My turbo manifold only leaves roughly 2-3 threads on the bottom studs for the nuts to thread on to. I know I had to get longer intake manifold studs b/c I used a hondata im gasket, just thought there might be something similar for the exhaust side.

ARP makes a stud kit. Very nice, look like miniature headstuds but stainless and polished Costing a hefty $75ish dollars for only 8 P/N ARP-400-8014
Edit**
These are for 2" long. They have different lengths, longer and shorter. They also have other quantities available with different part numbers.....but sadly they are still expensive
Edit again*** lol

****, yeah theyre m8
I was thinking of oil pan studs (bought those last week)...my bad
I dont get why anyone would pay over $80 for 10 studs. Price them at the hardware store...theyre going to be much less. Hell, http://www.mcmaster.com has studs too
I cant see any reason for using some super tough fastener like arp...

How much you think a Full Race manifold, large frame T4 turbo, 2 wastegates, 2 dump tubes, and a 4" downpipe weigh? Thats probably a good reason to spend the dough on a set of studs like this. Although I didnt have all that last year when I was breaking stock studs and even grade 8 bolts off

, I can't justify spending that much either, heading off to Lowe's, hopefully I'll find something

I just bought studs and nuts this morning, from mcmaster - I needed to do this too.
I spent $34 shipped (I chose to get new nuts, and they only came in a 25 pack for $10 something) It was actually less than what I priced at ACE for the same thing.
Class 8.8, same as oem
I cant see where anyone would need super arp studs for intake manifolds. Whats the grade/class on those? I know its over 10

Re: (pdiggitydogg)
Got them today at the local True Value hardware store instead of going to Lowe's, $2.30 for each stud, and they're about a 1/2" longer than the oem studs
