How often does a EBC give problems?
If anyone has any real world knowledge, please share
Supply air to the valve needs to be free of contamination. Too much contamination can cause the air valve to stick, leading to valve failure. Keeping the supply air dry is also very important. Too much moisture in the air can also cause the valve to stick.
Basically if you are using a filter and it clogs then that would be the reason He took it off. If the filter is clogged its not going to let air escape causing creep issues. They really shouldnt clog most come 1/8 Npt and are a flat stone filter....You could buy a bigger cone shaped stone filter if clogging was a issue. I think alot of that may depend on where the valve is placed in regards to the clogged filters (near dumptube, high moisture areas ect)
They were designed with a stone filter for a reason.
