Two likely newb questions
I posted my likely config for huffing my JDM B18 Type-R.
I've been told we're upping the fuel injectors. Should the fuel rail be swapped out as well for something better? I suspect it may not need it for my mild state of tune I'm asking for.
Also, since this engine is not in a honda/acura chassis, I just hung a filter off the valve cover where the PCV valve goes. I've been told, good, bad put a catch can and vent there, doesn't matter.
There car will be turbocharged with longevity and driveability in mind first, ultimate hp 3rd. I don't want to open the engine.....as I'v e said before.
The car is so light at 1660 pounds that it is really quick with the stock B18 in it. If I were to get it to 275 hp, this car will really, really notice the difference. If I get a bit more from a good tune that would be nice too.
I'm just finishing up the most basic body work to get it down to Go-to Autoworks. The car is really ugly now as I've got a raw one piece fiberglass nose on it. I'm just getting to the point where I can drive the 600 miles 'Bama and give Greg and his folks the most time and room to work on it.
It'll get finished and painted on next years budget.
