just made my mbc/bleedervalve and turned up my boost 2 more psi to 8psi. still runs safely rich and no detonation with my 6psi settings on my safc hack. how much psi can i safely crank it up on my tdo4L and d16y7? setup is obd2 d16y7, tdo4L off '02 wrx, 450cc dsm/resistor box, safc, msd btm -.33degree/lb, starion fmic. i want to crank it to 10psi to be closer to 200whp, but i don't know if the stock rods/pistons/cylinders will take it. i knew that this would happen-turbocharge then want more.

what does everyone think on the stock internals? 10psi safe, or should i stick with 6-8psi? (i will take it to the dyno to tune for 8-10psi, btw)

 

9-10lbs would be a safe umber. Make you have it dyno tund, that helps alo.

 

Yeah you should be fine runing 10psi if you tune it on the dyno like you stated.
