HP and 1/4mile times has absolutely nothing to do with what sleeve you are running. Doesnt matter if its stock, Darton, GEM, RS, Benson, Leitner&Bush, DART, backwoods redneck.

THANKS FOR STATING THE OBVIOUS. THE REASON I WAS WONDERING IS I AM USING DARTON SLEEVES AND I WANT TO KNOW HOW MUCH BOOST HAVE BEEN ABLE TO RUN AND WHICH SETUPS THEY USED. THE 1/4 TIMES IS JUST CURIOUSITY.

you have darton sleeves and you don't know how much boost you can run. im pretty sure your not gonna be running over 30psi beucase you asked this question so you have nothing to worry about.

ok I was curious as to what others have done starting with the same block. But you are right I will not be runnung 30 psi. If you know any one that has ran 30 psi with these sleeves let me know. I would like to see that. And yess I know that top fuel rated these sleeves to 60psi but Bret Rau runs 30psi in his car and he has a solid BLOCK.

don't worry bout the sleeves. They can handle 60lbs. But finding rods and pistons that can handle 60lbs is another story...

OT, But i was wondering if everyone makes sleeves out of ductile iron, then y can't pistons, and rods be made out of ductile iron??? If they did make them wouldn't they have the potential to withstand about 50lbs???

your sleeves will outlast just about every other engine part you have. Sleeves you dont have to worry about.

I think ductile IRON is to heavy for pistons????THINK
I am running je 84mm 9-2-1 forged pistions with crower 4340 rods. Head is all crower except hayame cam gears and Taking suggestions for camshafts. Drag turbo kit. Don't know what kind of fuel managment ecu> or size injectors I will be running yet. Still looking. Open for suggestions. Engine will be dropped into a 93 cx stripped to 2 front seats. What do you think I'll run. 6 puck clutch DH-Racing fly wheel amnd dh-racing will be handling the pp
ys1 cable tranny will be used. I don't like the hydro feel.

Does anyone know anything about the Darton stage 2 sleeves, as far as their boost limit might be?

Well you have to convert the car from hydro over to cable. Its not too hard. You need a new clutch peddle assembly and then some cables.
