Dose anyone know how much Boost a stock D16Z6 BLOCK can hold before needing to be re-sleeved? I have built up the internals with eagle rods and wisco pistons ( 8.5.1 CR ) and a new crank. and they are all the stock bore size and i want to know how much boost the block can hold ???? please any help will be great-full. thanks

this has been covered many times. with a good tune, stock sleeve sohcs have made 500+ with just a piston and rod combo (among other things)

these threads are so pointless.....have a goal in mind and we'll tell you if its possible....and if you're looking to us to help you decide on a power goal, ask what kind of horsepower a D can handle, not boooooost....

How can he set a goal if you cant tell him how much boost a stock z6 can handle? Its a very simple question. Just because YOU think this "threads" are "pointless" doesnt mean you have to be a dick.

why does it feel we like i went through this same arguement last week? i think you even posted in the thread schister, lol.

its not about a PSI number you noobie. 10 psi on a T3 is alot difference than 10 psi on a GT35r. there is no definitive boost pressure a block can handle. its all about CFM
