How to lower boost (page down on faq)
The page in the FAQ section oon how to lower boost is not there, so I have a question on how to do it, I have a td04 turbo off a 92 dsm auto w/ the internal wastegate. What I have heard is that extending the metal arm going to the actuator will make lower boost, so do I just unbolt the actuator and somehow extend it, not sure how though because I want to get around 6 pounds of boost on an f22a1 engine.
I have seen actuators sold that are adjustable but im not sure if they woul dbe compatible with mine, maybe I could make a bracket for one, BUT IF I DO GET LOWER BOOST FROM EXTENDING THE ARM, how can I figure how much boost it will hold after all said and done without it on the engine (if there is a way?) thanks alot...
Oh and are wastegate actuators supposed to have some oil residue in them because mine spit some out when I tried pushing in the wastegate arm..., problem?
