Default how low should i make compression on a z6 for about 15lbs boost?

i wnna build a spare z6 i have and turbo it with about 15 lbs . what compression should i aim for and what is a good yet moderately priced turbo kit to get? it will need all parts for a crx si.

First, I would come up with a horsepower goal and not a boost goal, as boost is just a relative term. That way, if you're looking for, say, 250 at the wheels, you may, with the right turbo, be able to hit that goal, with stock compression at lower than 15 psi - tuned, I would hope.

Basically, motors break because of horsepower, not boost, so building a motor for 15psi is irrelevant. I suggest overbuilding the motor to give you a little breathing room. Some aftermarket 9:1 compression pistons and some new rods is a must if you're builiding up the D series. Sleeving the motor is even better for reaching big numbers. I'm assuming that since you wanted to run 15psi, you're looking for upper 200s at the wheels so I say throw in a moderately sized T3/T4, get it tuned, and the numbers with come.
