I was just wondering i just ordered some bfg drag radials and i wanted to know how it would grip on the streets im running 10psi right now on no tune and ran a 11.80 at the track w/ slicks so what rpm would you launch with drag radials for it to grip good? thank you for the help

we run 10-15 psi on our bfg's. Launch is around 4-5 with 9-psi them the boost controller takes it from the kitcking it up 9 to 12 then to 15+ what ever psi that keeps traction. no point of running 25-35 psi if the tire just keep spining.

So are you still running the ls stock block?

 

ya still got the stock block how far is wellsville from olathe?

nope haven't put it on the dyno yet but i will soon im shooting for the 280-300whp range hopefully

yeah preload will help. it's about 30mins.

How are you tuning your car?

 

im probly going to get it done at nu-image on crome with ben he does alrite tuning ya after i get my tires mounted im going to just sit in a parking lot and just preload a couple of times until i find a good rpm

 

yeah i've seen ben run 18psi on stock ls just fine.

 

ya my friend with a blue eg same setup but just a log manifold got 290whp on 17psi tuned by ben

 

yeah he just did a stock b16 on 7psi for 252 whp in 15 mins
