Default how to install zeitronix boost sensor?

I've got a 99 integra and I'm trying to install the zeitronix boost sensor. My question is:

1) What do I do with the stock map sensor? Can I simply unplug the wiring harness?

2) Does it matter where I tap the vaccum hose?

3) Does it matter how long the hose is? I'm wondering if I should extend the wires to reach the ecu or if I should extend the hose to reach the ecu.

Thanks!

Oh, one more thing. I'm running uberdata. So I should be able to adjust the ecu to read the 3.5 bar zeitronix sensor right?

Thanks!

are you using it as the map for your ecu? i used mine just as the zeitronix boost sensor.but for your question, just think of it as a gm 3 bar. splice the wires. only thing is you need a 1/8 npt hole to scrw it into. i went with a vac. manifold. made life easier

I know! I think people should be running the zeitronix more! It's the all in one package. With the new boost sensor, you can have a 3.5 bar map as well as an electronic boost gauge that reads directly off the map scalars. Great for datalogging!

Yes, I am going to use the map for the ecu...when I boost more. But right now I'm only boosting at 9 psi. So map sensor's aren't an issue yet. But when it becomes an issue, this will be my remidy.

There is a stock map sensor output on the zeitronix unit. I couldn't get it to work on crome. Whenever I would choose the 3.5 bar aem map sensor, it would keep getting changed to a 3.8 custom and makes the scale all wrong.

Still wondering this though:

1) What do I do with the stock map sensor? Can I simply unplug the wiring harness?

Will having both of them hooked up cause problems?

the zeitronix's BOOST sensor its not meant to run your car.
its meant to be used for dataloggin purposes.
if you have a software, like CROME, or EMS, etc etc that allows you to put a custom MAP sensor voltage chart for the sensor you got wired, then yes i can see it working

but this sensor its meant to be placed on the engine and being able to use your datalog provided software
i got the ZT-2 kit and love it, and if i get a boost sensor it will not be to run my car

So much misinformation. Zeitronix boost sensor = AEM 3.5bar map sensor. Same ******* thing. Both are absolute pressure sensors. The settings in Crome work. Crome is just mildly retarded and thinks its a 3.8bar sensor due to the relatively weird voltage to pressure scale.

There is a narrowband output from the zt-2 unit that I've got hooked up. Will having this hooked up along with the stock map sensor cause problems? But I'm pretty sure that it can be used for more than just datalogging. That's what the narrowband output is for right?

So I should be ok using the 3.8 bar sensor that crome defaults to? Or should I use the stock honda 1.7 bar sensor?
