Straight from the Zeitronix website: Boost sensor is a 3.5 Bar absolute MAP sensor. The Zt-2's high resolution boost input in conjunction with a Zeitronix Boost Sensor is more accurate than most boost gauges.
Let's not forget that MAP stands for Manifold Absolute Pressure. The MAP sensor measures the vacuum or pressure in your setup. The Zeitronix uses the same 3.5 BAR Bosch sensor as the AEM MAP sensor kit. Normally the Zeitronix/AEM boost pressure sensor is wired into the datalogging setup so you can log your vacuum/boost. But it can also be wired up to act as the car's MAP sensor. You just have to make sure that your EMS has the ability to run that particular MAP sensor.

the boost sensor zeitronix sells you is the same thing as the AEM one.......it works as a MAP sensor. it reads vacuum and boost. it can also be used as the main map sensor for the vehicle as long as you can configure your EMS to read it properly.
you don't need 2 map sensors to make this work.

what do you just wire it up into the stock harness and just t off the signal wire and run that to the datalogger?

Re: (Boosted Chemist)
Wow, I didn't know that the boost sensor was also a map sensor. I was looking to upgrade to a 3 bar map, and this would be the ideal solution. Anyone got info how to wire it?

yes
been running it for about 4 months or more now with no problems........just make sure your EMS is capable of reading a 3.5bar.......im sure it can.....if uberdata can run it anything else can too
