how to hook up all the vacuum lines.......
i just bought a used drag 3 kit.......
are all the vacuum lines gonna go to one junction?
where does the
BOV vaccuum goes
FMU vacuum goes
the one on the turbo..vacuum goes
and the 2 vacuum on the wastegate....are they all gonna get connected to
the vacuum line on the intake manifold??
pics would help too..........
Thanks

BOV and FMU boost signal should be connected to a source on the manifold(FPR, or cruise control, etc).
The fitting on the compressor side of the turbo can go to the side port of the wastegate.
The top of the wastegate can be left open, unless you run an electronig boost controller.

My hks BOV has two ports.
Is the top for vac/boost and the bottom boost only (from compressor)?

The top port isn't needed unless you're running an EBC, so if you're relying on just the wastegate to control boost, the top port can stay open to the atmosphere. The bottom port needs to see a boost signal. Some people like to run the boost signal from the side port of the w/g to manifold pressure. This lets the w/g open slower and thus gives you more boost, with an increased chance of overboosting or boost creep. Running the signal from the comrpessor housing is more reliable and you'll have less of a chance of overboosting, but the w/g opens sooner and may not hold the same amount of boost as it would if it were connected to manifold pressure. Try both, see which one you like better.
