Default How high?

How much boost/horsepower can a stock GSR bottom end handle? Given that its tuned well with fuel and ignition.

Stoopid did 12psi on a stock block with stand alone. Dont even think about doing this with a FMU.

ben said this was ok with a stock gsr..is this right? its with a vortch FMU.....

As for safely boosting 10-12psi, I would recommend the following:

J&S Ultra Safeguard Version 2

RC 310cc Injectors

Vortech 8:1 Disk

With this combo, you can safely run up to 12psi.

your question is obviuosly about safe power and lbs - here is what you should not do: hook up nitrous fuel solenoid and jet to intake pipe and set on WOT for 100hp worth of fuel. - then lock wastegate with some big nasty old valve spring and go for blast at 23-25lbs boost on C16. we did this for fun on a car we were just gonna use for parts, felt like it made sick power probably 230- 240hp
