Default Stock 01 GSR Boost ?'s

I have a 30 X 5 X 3 intercooler. I garrett T3?T4 turbo, DSM 440 injectors and a walbro 255 fuel pump. I also have a COMETIC head gasket that brings my compression down to 9:7:1. I m only planning on running 6-8 psi until I can get some internals. Should I get myECU chipped with Uberdata and run a FMU? Right now I don t have an FMU I am just wondering what would B the best thing to do.. I m not lookin for big power right now just want to get it running consistant. Turning my distibutor all the way back will that B enough retard on my timing?

Convert to obd1 and run uberdata (no FMU) and keep your dizzy set to stock (uberdata will take care of ignition and fuel). Why would you only boost 6-8 psi? The stock internals can handle a lot. I would be shooting for 300whp if I had a GSR.

yeah i agree with beerbongskickass. Dont even waste your time with the FMU setup. i am currently running 10-11 psi driven hard daily on uberdata. 300 whp should be easy on a stock gsr block.

U can run Uberdata on my ECU I thought. I m using a B16a1 computer in my REX..

I used the B16 computer so I wouldn t have 2 do an OBD conversion...

The inline pro guys in VA run a thicker head gasket to lower compression and run 15, 16 pounds all day on stock internals

my compression is 9:7:1 which I should have taken it lower but that s lower than 10:1. I m not going with a FMU I think I ll get a VAFC and a BTM and I should be good to go...

DITCH THE ******* AFC, GO UBERDATA! It'll be cheaper to convert to uberdata, and you'll have a better running setup in the end! Why do you want to waste your money on an inferior method of controlling fuel!

Will release all info as the dyno sheets come out

We want to make sure everything works as good as its suppose to and reliable before we release it to the public.

We are targeting the people that want to turbo there vehicle but for less of a cost but still get 110% quality stuff.
