Default how does dsm intercooler fit delsol?

i know that its been done...but do i have to cut anything to make it fit except cutting the interooler itself? I tried test fitting the intercooler, and it seemas like the bottom part of the intercooler hits the lower plastic piece that holds the bumper on. Are you guys taking that lower plastic piece out so that the intercooler fits and no cutting or moding of parts? Or is this the only way to get the intercooler to fit wihtout without permanent moding of car parts? or is there a position im not getting so that everything in the car stays and the intercooler fits?

I got a front mount and actually had to cut out the bottom part of the bumper that bolts on. Not a big deal.

only had to cut angle off of the lower pipe on the smic. the other end goes straight up to the stock resonator hole. once installed the ic sits at a slight angle inside the fender so it's not perfectly vertical up/down, but close. turn the steering wheel all the way so that you have room to work and play around with the fitment. it definitely works without cutting any of the car if ur patient and be creative

i've seen it rigged up to go where the AC was. otherwise, i'm pretty sure it fits right in front of the radiator if you cut out the plastic grill. but it's just about touching it.

Anything will fit with modification lol Just go try it. Mark off what needs to be cut and cut away. But, why not just get an FMIC? No funds, or want to be sleeper?
