hey all i have a t25 on my dx just something to play w i want to bring the boost down to abotu 6 psi instead of the 9 stock i bought a greddy boost controler but that dosent do it so what can i do???

run an external wastegate with a 3 psi spring, and use your boost controler. Or find an internal wastegate that is rated at 6 psi.

why do you wanna lower the boost of a t25? The t25 turbo doesn't flow anything as is, so you best to sell it then...

I did just that on my last turbo setup. The info is on turbo d16. First you take off the wastegate and arm off the turbo. Then you cut the arm right in the middle. You then thread the two ends from the cuy you just made. Then go to home depot and get one of the long nut things. Im not sure what it is called but it looks like a really long nut like 1.5 ". You know it would have 1.5 inches of thread inside of it. Then thread in both sides of the wastegate arm into the long nut. You need to use 2 regular sized nuts , 1 on each side of the long one to lock it into place. You dont thread the ends all the way in. What this does is makes the wastegate arm longer and holds the flapper open a tiny bit. I had my last t25 setup runnign at 6.5 psi. I know it sounds complicated but its not. Its just hard to explain. That sounds like it would work, but it also sounds like it'll increase the time it takes for the turbo to spool since you are causing an exhaust leak.

Take the smallest drill bit you can find and put a hole in your charge pipe. Repeat until desired boost is met.

i did the same thing this morning with my t25. im using an adjustable actuator, they re awkward. go to atpturbo they do a 6psi actuator for your t25
