How do my spark plugs look... ls turbo...
How do these look? Took them out after about 8,000kms. I'm running a T3 at about 8-9psi with uberdata and 450cc injectors. My engine is a b18b and running ZFR6F ngk plugs gapped at .030.
How do they look? Should I go colder or gap diferently?
Thanks!!!

Re: How do my spark plugs look... ls turbo... (Eluzion)
Well my stock plug is a 5 temp range, so I went one step colder to a 6. I figure I'm running about 80hp more than stock, so I don't know if going two step colder would be beneficial.

Well, I'm running 8's in my setup, and I'm only making 270whp (but 11.0 to 1 comp.). Better to be on the safe side, I'd go with a BKR7E series.

Do mine have white spots? Isn't detonation bad?
So should I really go another step colder plugs or am I alright here?

get ngk part number 1095...great turbo plug and they are 7's too...and gap at .28 is pretty crazy.... .32-.35 should be fine with a street car...

Your plugs look fine bro. I wouldn't worry about them.
Number 6's will work fine but you can go with number 7's if you really want. By the looks of your plugs it doesn't really look like you need them. We run number 7's all the way up to about the 400whp range and haven't had any problems. Anything beyond that it might be time for number 8's. I believe Boosted Hybrid (Evans Tuning) uses number 7's up to like 450whp (if I remember correctly.. he posted it in a thread somewhere).
I wish my plugs looked as good as yours.

Generally, Jeff will use 7's up to about 450whp. But like in my case, when he tuned my car, he didn't feel comfortable with the 7's that I had in there, and swapped them out for 8's.
