Default How to clock a Turbonetics turbo?

Alright, I've searched and I've called, no one's pics are still active. So here is a pic of my Turbonetics turbo.

Now there are 3 sets of bolts. One set of 6 bolts, 2 bolts at each interval with a gold bracket underneath on the compressor side. Another set of 4 bolts on the intermediate housing. And the last set of 6 bolts on the turbine with a circular gold ring underneath them.

From what I understand I need to loosen the outermost bolts to spin the compressor side and the turbine side but the not those middle bolts. I think someone said the middle bolts will upset the balance of the turbine/compressor. Is this correct?

Also that center brass fitting on the oil feed line.. does that stay there? My current turbo does not have that fitting?

Yes, you clock it by loosening the outermost bolt sets and turn the housings to where you need them.

It is hard to tell what that fitting in the feed is, it looks like a restrictor, pull it out and take a closer pic
