how to clean turbo
hey i was wondering how should i go about cleaning the compressor side of the turbo right now there is dirt and oil on it i was just wondering what i should use to clean it thanks
Is just the compressor cover dirty? If so, just take it off and use some parts cleaner and a toothbrush.
You could also take the nut, compressor wheel, and back plate off if you want to clean all that stuff too.

Yeah, if that gasket is dry and nasty it should be replaced.
Contact http://www.turbocity.com and I'm sure they will sell you one.
There are torque specs for the compressor cover and backplate but I can't remember them off the top of my head. You should be able to find them by searching around a bit.
