Default how to clean turbo

hey i was wondering how should i go about cleaning the compressor side of the turbo right now there is dirt and oil on it i was just wondering what i should use to clean it thanks

Is just the compressor cover dirty? If so, just take it off and use some parts cleaner and a toothbrush.

You could also take the nut, compressor wheel, and back plate off if you want to clean all that stuff too.

is there any specific torque that it needs to be torqued to when its put back on

well i took it off and i am seeing a black gasket?? it is dry and flakeing off does that need to be replaced? if so were can i get it

Yeah, if that gasket is dry and nasty it should be replaced.

Contact http://www.turbocity.com and I'm sure they will sell you one.

There are torque specs for the compressor cover and backplate but I can't remember them off the top of my head. You should be able to find them by searching around a bit.
