hondata trouble, won't connect, did connect once before
crx, obd0-obd1 conversion, p28 ecu chipped by hondata, s200+boost+datalogging
turn ignition on, led on hondata solid red
plug serial cable into laptop, solid red
open hondalogger, led goes off, than back on
won't connect, says connection error
the chip isn't blank
any thoughts?
also , how can i tell if the ecu is damaged?
engine light stays on, check the codes by grounded D4, and i get 2 flashes
thanks

update, i believe i am getting a code 20 , and a code 41, i don't think those would have anything to do with hondata?
also, when i connect the serial cable to the laptop from the blue box, the led in the blue box starts to blink

Are you using a Dell laptop?
If you are, try gettinga USB to seiral adapter and us the UB instead of the direct serial connection.

The Serial->USB adapter really helps. I always had problems connecting with my serial cable. After I bought the adapter my connecting problems *almost* all went way. Try connecting the serial before you switch the ignition on.
