Hondata S100 with Boost and a VTEC Ecu? Will it work on a None VTEC
I got a 2000 honda civic dx, and this guy emailed me and we talked, he has a Hondata S100 with a OBD 2B to OBD 1 Harness and a P28 Ecu already chiped ( It's the 92-95 ex/si ecu
Will it work on my 2000 Honda Civic DX, do i just not connect the vtec wire, or will i have to open up the ecu and take the vtec out? Or can i just plug it in and it will work fine. Please let me know asap. I just don't want to throw a code or have the car runing shitty
Im runing blue box right now, and i need something tuneable, this is a good deal, i don't want to pass up.

dont quote me but i believe u will be fine.
I dont know if u can disable vtec, but if worse comes to worse vtec can be set say at 10k rpm where you will never hit and you will never go to the vtec fuel/ignition maps.
if i am completely wrong i apologize.

Yes you can disable vtec within the Hondata Rom.
Any dealer can do it for you.

You will just have to have a non vtec rom burned from any dealer. If you use the vtec program it will run rich and pretty shitty. But that s100 will work!

Sure, it will work just fine.....
You still need it tuned, but once tuned you'll have no problems.
