Hondata problem, Help needed...
what up FI freaks
the car: I'm running a b16 w/ JRSC @ 12lbs (as indicated by boost gauge), s200, rc440's, p28 ecu, GM 3bar map sensor.
problem: basically the car does not accelerate at WOT pass 6600rpm. But if I give it partial throttle (ie. 3/4 throttle) it will go to redline (8100rpm). Full throttle shifting works perfectly if I do it on partial throttle. Now if I try to do it with the pedal to the metal, like how you're supposed to, the car cuts out like I hit a brick wall and does not accelerate. The CEL flashes until I let go of the gas.
Basically if I take it pass 6600rpm on partial throttle then mash the gas at lets say, 7000, the car dosent accelerate. All I hear is the charger but not the motor itself.
I have the clutch switch installed. I made sure my foot was off the clutch.
Hondata interface light does not blink. Stays on the whole time.
Also, static rev setting does not work for ****. I did it per the instructions, no dice. For instance, if I try to set the launch via static setting, it always gives me 1600rpm, no matter what combination of the push button/brake pedal I do.
Dynamic rev setting works perfect.
Would incorrect installation of the 3bar map sensor cause the car to do this?
Would I have hit the boost cut?
I don't have any of the software. If it is a software problem, will anyone in the Bay Area help me out who has datalogging/hondalogger?
It didn't do this on the dyno. It went to 8100rpm at WOT while being dyno tuned.
I can come back to my tuner (DSR) and tell him about it... but my work schedule sucks and I have no time during the week.
I'll mess with the car again tonight and see what I come up with.
Any ideas guys?

you know what, good question. I didn't ask him when I was there
I will call him in the morning.

I think that is what it is too. Although something with the full throttle shift is my second guess. That is what it was for me. I ended up wiring a switch for daily driving to turn it off.

Also make sure that your map sensor is getting boost readings from the manifold and not from the throttle body.

checked that, and it's getting the vaccum/boost from the manifold.
spoke w/ Lawrence @ DSR, and my boost cut is set at 11. I will stop by DSR soon to have the cut disabled or increased. Hopefully that is it. Will keepyou guys posted
